Deutzia ‘Mont Rose’ poj. P9/C1

Attractive, profusely flowering shrub of small size. The plant is easy to grow, it does well in average soils and polluted city air. This plant is not fully frost-proof and it happens to freeze, but it bounces off the ground very nicely. This small shrub grows up to 1.5 m high and 1 m wide and has a loose habit. The plant produces stiff, straight shoots that are sprinkled with flowers in June. The flowers are initially dark pink, with time they brighten until they acquire a delicate pastel shade. This variety also has elongated, dark green leaves with a characteristic sharp hair on the lower side of the leaf blade. It needs a lot of sun to bloom profusely while keeping the substrate moist.
