Chinese Silver Grass ‘Maleparthus’ 2L

It is one of the earliest flowering varieties, growing up to 1 m high and 1 m wide. When the plant begins to bloom, the seedling can reach 2 m in height. A characteristic feature of this variety are arched leaves, tapering towards the top. A silver nerve runs through the center of the green leaf. In the second half of summer, paniculate inflorescences appear. Their shade is slightly purple, beige. After flowering, the inflorescences become silvery, shimmering and very fluffy. At the end of summer, the grass changes to a delicate shade of orange, then it turns into a shade of red and finally it becomes straw-colored, which is a sign that the plant will slowly dry out.
